Missions Opportunity to Help Feed the Hungry
The Warrior Missions Club is working in conjunction with Shepherd’s Door Ministries to collect food to meet the physical needs of many students at Park Hills Elementary School this year.  We were made aware that many of the students were incredibly hungry during Monday morning breakfast because they had not eaten since school lunch on Friday.  We will be collecting food and putting it into backpacks for the kids to take home on Fridays. If possible, SCA students will be delivering the bags to Park Hills periodically to put a face with the mission. The food items collected needs to be easy to open for young children (pop top lids, tear open bags, etc) and must not need preparation.  Included in the bags will be an easy to understand presentation of the gospel and a number to  a Shepherd’s Door representative they can call with needs or prayer requests.  Please help us collect as much food as possible. Beginning October 25th large boxes will be placed at the front office and on the high school floor labeled Park Hills Elementary. Thank you for ministering to those less fortunate. The Warrior Missions Club is excited about the opportunity and responsibility that God has given us to serve this year within our community!!
