We are excited to introduce you to our 10th Anniversary Auction on April 27, 2012 as we are “Makin’ the bacon” for SCA. Proceeds from the auction will be used to directly enhance instruction in the classroom for all students. Your support, as we describe below, will help us keep Spartanburg Christian Academy on the cutting-edge of education.
This year’s auction proceeds will be used to purchase additional desktop computers for our school. We are in need of 30 classroom teacher computers and 25 new computers to upgrade the high school computer lab.
Here is what you’re fixin’ to find at this year’s Anniversary Auction and how you can pitch in:
• Ticket Sales - Auction tickets include a pig pickin’ barbeque dinner and a Live auction in the Fellowship Hall. Tickets go on sale March 20th and childcare will be provided for ages 5 and under for those who pre-register. Cost of the tickets is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
• Silent Auction - Go hog wild over exclusive items including sports camps, services, dining packages, date nights, and a heap of other merchandise in our silent auction.
• Live Auction – Back by popular demand are the teacher adventures, trips and lots of surprises! Grab your bid paddle, a good seat in the fellowship hall, and start the biddin’.
• VIP Table Sponsors – Reckon you’ll have the best seat in the house with our VIP seating. Eat in style up front, and just wink at the auctioneer with your bid. Reserve a table of 10 for you and your clan for $250.
• Grade Level Baskets and Crafts – As always, you will find your one-of-a-kind craft items in the silent auction. These crafts will be treasured by you and your family for years to come. All biddin’ fights must be clean and fair. The grade baskets will also be just what your family’s got a hankerin’ for and can also be found in the silent auction. (Due February 21st)
• Corporate Sponsors – We’d be much obliged if you’d partner with us to showcase your business in one of three ways and help us cover our expenses. Forms can be found online under the Auction link or at the front desk.
• Donations – Donate an item or service from your business or family for our silent or live auctions. Just tote it to the front desk and fill out the form. This is an easy way to show your support.
