Congratulations to SCA’s girls volleyball team for winning the SCISA 2AState Championship on Tuesday night!  They defeated First Baptist Charleston 3-0 to take the win.  It was their fourth state championship in eight years.  It was a great season for the entire team!  Go Warriors!

Our Lady Warriors Cross Country Team made history on Saturday with a win at the Spartanburg County meet.  They became the first team other than Dorman or Spartanburg High School to win a team title at the County meet in 29 years!  Logan Morris won the individual title and broke her own county record by 22 seconds.  Congratulations Lady Warriors Cross Country and Logan!  Continue to cheer them on this coming Saturday as they run to win their seventh straight state title!

 

Eva Earle, fourth grade, entered her art work called the "Miracle of Eva" in the Spartanburg County Fair with hundreds of other entries in the children's category. Her art won first place! Congratulations Eva!

Kurt Gowan, an SCA senior, was chosen to be their new electric guitar player for Joyful Sound at North Greenville University. Congratulations Kurt!

The SCA track teams competed in the SCISA State Track meet in Sumter on Saturday.

The SCA girls won their 3rd straight state title- barely beating Trinity Collegiate 30-26.

Spartanburg Christian Academy captured the SCISA 2A boys tennis state championship over the weekend. It marked the first boys tennis title in school history. The Warriors won a three-team, round-robin tournament against defending champion Beaufort Academy and state runner-up Trinity Collegiate at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter. SCA downed Trinity 4-2 and Beaufort 5-1 in the decisive match. David Bolton, Matt Howell, Mitchell Lewis, Bryce Staggs and Austin Turner each picked up singles wins against Beaufort. “My guys really stepped up a lot,” SCA coach Zach Williams said.
