Seventh Straight SCISA 2A State Championship!

SCA's Varsity Cross Country Girls' Team made history after winning at last week's Spartanburg County meet. This past Saturday, history was made again, after winning the SCISA 2A State Championship Title for their 7th straight year!

• Logan Morris won her 3rd individual State title, and was top girl in all of SCISA for the 2nd year in a row.
• Madison Seay was State Runner-up, also for the 2nd year in a row.
• Shelby Wright was 4th, Madison Burgess was 5th, Taylor Morris was 6th and Hannah Ward was 7th. All of these girls were All-State.
• Kaylin Rogers also contributed to the win for SCA.
• The SCA boys team finished 4th and as a team ran the fastest times in school history.
• Ben Christopher broke his own school record, and was named to the SCISA All-State team. Ben was the top 9th grader in all of SCISA 2A.
• Mitchell Lewis was SCA's #2 runner and ran the 9th fastest time in school history.
• Kendall Stevens, Matt Howell and 7th grader Sam Diestler all finished in the top 40 and scored for SCA.
• Taylor Stevens and David Bolton also contributed to the strong showing.
• Matt Howell and Kaylin Rogers were named Runners of the Meet for running their best races of the year.
