Homecoming Week 2012  -  January 9th – 14th
High School Students ONLY

  • Monday – PJs/Sweatpants Day(must be appropriate; pants should be loose fitting with no writing on seat of pants)
  • Tuesday – Twin Day (Triplets, Quads, etc.)  Get with a friend or friends and dress alike.
  • Wednesday – Farmer/Camo Day – Come dressed as a farmer in overalls/jeans or wear your camouflage.
  • Thursday- Vintage Celebrity Day - Dress up like a famous person from the 1940s (Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Cary Grant, Lucille Ball, Bette Davis, The Andrews Sisters, etc.)
  • Friday-   Patriotic Day
    This is the day to show pride in being an SCA Warrior and an American.  Wear red, white and blue or dress as a patriotic character.  (Uncle Sam, Statue of Liberty, military uniform, etc. (no guns or weapons)

 

  • Homecoming parade:  1:15pm (please see attached guidelines)
  • Pep Rally:  1:45pm
  • Rehearsal for Homecoming Ceremony – 2:30pm in gym for all members
       of the homecoming court
  • Saturday -
    Middle School Girls BBall Game - 1:00 pm
    Middle School Boys BBall Game - 2:00 pm
    Varsity Girls BBall Game 3:00 pm
    Varsity Boys BBall Game 4:30 pm
    The Homecoming Ceremony will take place between the Varsity Girls’ and Varsity Boys’ basketball games on Saturday, probably between 4:00 – 5:00pm.
     
  • Alumni get together:  2:30pm – 4:00pm  in the Fellowship Hall.
  • Homecoming Party:  “Vintage Boogie Woogie” 7:00pm – 10:00pm   Food will be served in the Fellowship Hall and then the dance will be in the gym. (Dress and Date Requirements)

    Other activities:
    Hallway decorating contest between classes (9th – 12th) *Put up decorations on Monday, Jan. 9th from 8:00 – 8:25am.

    Class Spirit Competition performance (9th – 12th) – during the Pep Rally on Friday.

    Planning times:  1/3, 1/6, 1/9, 1/10 during Club time & SLI.  Classes should plan and make hall decorations and practice for the Spirit Competition.
