The SCA Competitive Team attended their 3rd competition of the season on Monday night, September 27.  Still working with a last minute substitute theteam competed at the 4th Annual Panther Prowl at Chapman High School in the 2A Varsity Co-ed division.  The team took first place bettering their previous score by 16 points.  Congratulations Warriors!

Their next competiion will be at Cardinal Newman in Columbia this Saturday, October 2nd.  The doors will open at noon and the Warriors compete at 1:56.

The JV girls showed again that they are one of the top JV teams in the state at the Citadel Invitational in Charleston.
  • Lee Steele, Natalie Hamrick, Kaylin Rogers, Andie Reber and Brianna Putnam took 5 of the top 7 places and won awards as the Warriors scored an easy victory.

The SCA cross-country teams traveled to Charleston and competed in the Citadel Invitational on Saturday, September 25 .

The SCA Competitive Cheer team began their 5th season by traveling to Colleton Preperatory Adacemy for the Warhawk Invitational.

Second grade has been learning about community helpers. One of their requirements is to go watch a community helper on the job site and interview them. Then they make a poster and give a presentation in class.  The posters are on display in their hallway.
A volunteer from the Carolina Pregnancy Center, Debra Ort, came to speak with them about what they do to help our community.  As a missions project, second grade collected items for the Carolina Pregnancy Center. 

SCA Cross Country Team had its Cross Country Invitational last night, Monday, September 13th.  Each school that participated in the event donated cases of bottled water to give to our local

The first graders were taught a unit on 'Using Good Manners." The unit ended with parents and school administration reading books on manners.  They also had tea and cookies to practice their good manners.

SCA Varsity girls win again!!  They beat 42 schools in the Championship division of the Coaches Classic meet in Columbia. 
Logan Morris was top runner and finished 4th.
